Introduction to the world of Itharios

This world's origins are shady, with many theories and religions all stating that they know what created us, our essence. Since I do not favour the so-called scientists, I will tell you the story of our creation as the religion of Pra'Irc recorded it, a religion which I do not follow, but since it is the most widely accepted religion, I figured it'd be best to start off with that religion.

A long time ago, 561 years to be exact, there was nothing, just an endless void filled with nothing and more nothing. However, there was one being in the nothing, whom we call the Creator. The Creator formed this world using its own life essence, which is why you will often see monks preaching that when we cut down another forest we are cutting down the Creator itself, something which is, to them, punishable by death, a punishment which they like to carry out themselves. We now call those monks the Bloody Monks. Anyways, I'm getting off topic. Back to the creation.

After the Creator used its life essence to create us, it slowly withered away, it is unsure if it is still rotting away somewhere in a dark corner of the Eternal Skies, This is because there have not been any reports of any "supernatural" activities since then. This is also the reason scientist say the Creator does not exist. I disagree, however I do believe that the Creator is long dead.
